Woman With a 1/4-Carat Engagement Ring
This Minnesota-based wife and mother of two just reminded us that the sentiment behind an engagement has nothing to do with the size of the diamond. She explained that friends and family often ask her when she plans on upgrading her ring because they believe “it doesn’t represent the level of success [they] are achieving.” To which she replies, “Since when did the size of someone’s ring become an indication of success?! For me, the ring is SO much more.” Here is her full response:
Rachel told Us Weekly that she used to dream of wearing a “Tiffany’s 2-carat, round-cut solitaire,” but meeting her husband changed her perspective. She states, “True love with a foundation of respect and trust is far more valuable than a large diamond,” and this is something we should all remember.
